| Vinny Arkins is going back home to Dublin | Portadown striker Vinny Arkins has signed for Eircom League side Bohemians despite a keen interest from Carnegie Irish League outfit Newry City. The 35-year-old goal poacher had spent nearly a decade plying his trade in the Irish League and was keen to limit his travelling from his Dublin base. "I had a few options, but I decided that Bohemians is the best move for me," said Arkins. "The club's on my doorstep and I liked what boss Gareth Farrelly is planning." |
